Summary of story: Diamond gets captured, and finds herself at a desert. She gets sick, and then tries to escape. But she got caught by a sandwing. Diamond was supposed to be guarded by a hybrid nightwing-sandwing, but he helped her escape. They also meet a seawing, who gets them to a special land. But their loved ones perish all around them.
