Briarlight was born to Graystripe and Millie along with Blossomfall and Bumblestripe. She tried to save Longtail when he went to get a mouse for Mousefur, when a tree was falling. Briarlight gets crippled, and Longtail dies. Then she moves into the medicine cat den with Jayfeather Leafpool (eventually) and Alderheart (also eventually).
