Update Notes --------------------------------------------------------------- v0.0.9 (3/10/2019): Gameplay Overhaul Update 1! Removed the "Techmaze" map, Changed how weapons' "general spread" is determined (no longer determined on shot, it's on a separate sprite now.) Added a crosshair. Made the shotgun much less accurate, it was really too accurate for some reason. Compacted the code for the zombie enemy. Added a counter for how many total enemies you've defeated. Added an achievement system, and the first 10 achievements! Changed the sounds for the zombies, all sounds are now slower and lower pitch. Adjusted the volume for their sounds as well. The rocket launcher's rocket now leaves a flame trail. THE PLAYER WILL NOW TAKE DAMAGE! YOU CAN DIE! If you die, you start over. You will have to restart the project. Be careful! Changed enemies' AI a bit, their aggressive/follow and passive/wander modes now are different. When aggressive, they will deal damage to you every 1 second if they touch you. If passive, they will not attack you and just turn a different direction if they bump into you. They will now also turn when hitting an edge of the map, instead of walking into the wall forever. They will automatically become aggressive if shot while passive. Zombies will also start off in a random mode, not all aggressive. Added 12 new player colors! Added the "Enraged Zombie" enemy, it's basically the normal zombie but faster, tougher, and will lunge/charge at you when close. v0.0.8.1 (3/6/2019): Reset the highscore for the studio challenge. Added weapon mobility; the weapon you're holding will affect your player's speed! Heavier weapons like miniguns and rocket launchers slow you down more than SMGs and pistols! The final enemy arrow now has a fixed size to be more visible. Slightly altered the way the Plasma Shotgun fires, so it's more like the normal shotgun. Slightly nerfed the damage for projectile "bullet 5" (Used by plasma shotgun, dual plasma pistols, and plasma assaulter.) Added weapon accuracy changes depending on if moving or not, and added TARGETING! Powerups now wont spawn in inaccessible areas (as much.) v0.0.7 (3/2/2019): Gameplay update 1! Slightly changed the way points to the next weapon is determined. It is now also affected by the wave you're on. You can move between weapons a lot faster on lower waves. You also now can either start with the pistol or the Shotgun. Fixed a bug with the miniguns, they will now stop firing when you switch to another weapon. Also added an arrow which points towards the last enemy, just so you can kill it quicker and if it's hiding in a corner, you can find it. Also made the rocket launcher 66% more accurate, but slowed it's projectile's velocity. Also changed the sounds for the dual plasma pistols, the plasma assaulter, the sniper rifle, and the paintball gun. Decreased the grenade launcher's speed but increased it's velocity. Added recoil to most weapons now. (It was only on plasma LMG before) Aaand added the "Techmaze" map. v0.0.6 (2/28/2019): Plasma weaponry update! Added 5 new plasma weapons! The Plasma Shotgun, a powerful shotgun which is best used at semi-medium range. The Dual Plasma Pistols, a set of powerful pistols which are best used at medium range. The Plasma LMG, a very powerful Light Machinegun which is best used at close to medium range. The Plasma Assaulter, a very powerful Assault Rifle which is best used at medium to long range. And the Plasma Shredder, a Minigun best used at close to semi-long range. Also made it so miniguns will now be shown under your character, as you would hold them down below your waist instead of in your arms like other guns. Also probably did some other minor changes that I've already forgotten. v0.0.5 (2/26/2019): Nerfed the minigun a LOT; made it fire slower, decreased accuracy, and switched it to a weaker projectile. Also fixed bug of spawning in the center and being stuck on the castle yard map. Also made the sniper rifle and rocket launcher fire SLIGHTLY faster. At least they aren't as painfully slow anymore. Aaand slightly changed the thumbnail. v0.0.4 (2/26/2019): Added the "Tri SMG" weapon! It's very fast firing and does a fair amount of damage. Also slowed the fire speeds for the Grenade Launcher, Rifle, Rocket Launcher, and Machinegun. Changed the projectile for the machinegun. Decreased the damage for weapons using the projectile "bullet 1." Increased the damage for the projectile "bullet 2." Decreased the minigun's accuracy.
