NOTE: This got declined to the featured studio by the way, because it was supposed to be solely on monochrome. But it is not actually, it's just the main focus, but not the whole extent. Today is March 10. That means, it's daylight savings time. Not important. It's time to celebrate by drawing something Mario-related. I was also interested in drawing in a monochrome style, since it's the current Scratch Design Studio's theme today. So I decided to draw my favorite character, Bowser, with the Scratch Bitmap Editor, with parallax. When you click through the sprites, it goes through stages which are represented as costumes. The first one is the WIP stage, which is what it supposed to look like initially. I disliked how I drew it, so I decided to modify it in the next one. Then everything is self-explanatory. Not only I made a monochrome style, with the color 'slime green', but there's a 'bonus' costume, which demonstrates the drawing, but with the multiple colors, instead of monochromatic. The whole duration of this project took six hours to produce in one day. The hardest part in my opinion is making the redo for the drawing, because y'all know - Bowser is hard to draw (in bitmap, not vector) If you ask me of how I can draw well, I have being producing a lot of artworks as well, outside Scratch, with MS Paint as my main program used to draw. This project depicts how I currently draw in MS Paint. By far, the Scratch 3.0 Bitmap editor is far advanced to use than MS Paint, but I prefer MS Paint more because it's more versatile, and a lot easier to use in my standards. Maybe an art dump of my MS Paint artworks? Let me know.
