I'm just giving a review in the Notes and Credits. Captain Marvel is the latest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it does not disappoint. Stunning special effects, great acting, moments of humor and great action sequences make this worth a watch. The movie takes a while to get to the point, however. The first 30 minutes are largely packed with flashbacks and such, and it gets rather confusing until you figure out what's going on. The visuals are fantastic. A stunning trick of digital de-aging makes 70 year-old Samuel L. Jackson appear to be 47 years old. The visuals for Captain Marvel's powers are mind-blowing. OVERALL REVIEW: 8.5/10 4 1/2 stars A definite must-see for those like me who are heavily invested in the Marvel Universe. A post-credit scene ties the film to next month's Avengers: Endgame.
