The Reading And Northern 425 stated out as a roster of the Gulf Mobile & Ohio. Then moved to the Gulf Mexico & Ohio renumbered 580. As being retired and shipped out for scrap in the 1980s, the Reading and Blue Mountain Northern bought it as with Reading 2102. It had a black scheme with a deep tone whistle. In the 90s, it came to thought to paint it blue. In the early 2000s, it was out of service for a redo. In 2007 it was tooken for a test run not all stuff were fixed, but it went good ans smooth. In the late 2000s such as 2008-2014, 425 had a Blue and Yellow paint scheme with many Excursion runs. She was the best of the rails. In 2015, she got a Blue, White, and Black paint scheme.
