Instructions can be found in the game. Use the right and left arrow keys to move side to side and the up arrow key to jump. The space bar allows you to speak to other characters, read signs, enter buildings, and use your selected weapon. To change your selected weapon, use the letter keys Z, X, C, and V. You sometimes need to go back a few levels to grab an item or talk to an important person.
