This is the answer key. The Set up--students must fix: 1) The orbits of the first 3 planets (Mercury, Venus and Mars) to rotate around the Sun. They must orbit at different rates due to their different year cycle. Use the other planets code blocks as a reference to help you solve the puzzle. 2) Add a rocket ship from the library and have it zoom across the stage, left to right and back again "forever," (hint). Be sure to shrink the sprite down so it looks appropriate. 3) Add a sound or music so that when the game is started, it plays but eventually stops. Do this in the Pluto planet area (hint: the large orange....) 4) Display a text message on the same Pluto area quadrant at the end--immediately after the music stops.
Thanks to carsyn8 for the original project orbiting planets. I am tailoring it for Space Day to fit into one of 3 scenarios for students to solve.
