New Version: 1.3b http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/jTron/2981097 =================== Download and go full to work! =================== Well, it's finally done! Development time (so far): ~4 hours Instructions: When you first load up the project, you are greeted with a quite friendly welcome song (just do it, you'll get it hopefully.) While the song is not the best, it should be able to convey the message I want it to. To play it, just tap the spacebar. Oh, make sure you clicked the flag first. Aw, isn't that cute? To stop it, just tap the spacebar again—well, usually just tap the spacebar again. If this isn't working for you, you can always smash that flag. Not literally. If you want to make your own music (which I would hope is the case, as that would be the reason this project is on your computer) just press C (for clear) then Y (to confirm.) Now you are presented with a blank mixboard. Let's go through what there is on your screen. - Mixboard - where you put what you want to play. The mixboard stage has four measures (see the grey lines? and three instruments (again, grey lines.) The instruments are denoted by the pictures on the right, but if you don't understand them, here: The first three lines are Piano. The next to play an instrument of your choice, chosen by pressing M. Last come the three drum lines which power the beat of your song. If you want, of course. Directly to the right of the mixboard stage lies the volume control. More on that later. - Midi and Tempo indicators - These simply show you what instrument you have chosen and how fast your loop will play. Press M to change the midi (1 to 125) and T to change the tempo (30 to 300.) - Loop button - Does nothing yet, but looks really cool. - Note, volume, and drum indicators - these show you what you will be placing. How to place notes: Click to place a beat. To change the note or drum, use the scroll wheel (or the up and down arrow keys if that isn't working for you.) If you want to delete a beat, mouse of the beat you want and press E. for both operations (placing and removing) you can drag the mouse. To change the volume of an instrument, look to the volume indicator at the bottom and choose
