This is the best of my three sketchbooks I've had this school year. Just realized I didn't even finish most of these lol. Space key!
1. The earliest art of mine that I could find. I think this was around the start of this school year? I just drew a random girl haha. 2. After watching two YouTube videos, one on how to draw hair and one on how to plan out anatomy, I attempted this. I actually remember being really proud of how this turned out, but looking back I could've done much better. 3. My first and only cat-girl. 4. This was the first person-who-identified-as-male I attempted to draw until much later. As you can see, the body was good but the face and hair was kinda... generic and not the best. 5. Wow, I actually colored this one! No way!! 6. Around here, I really started experimenting with different styles. This was the really cartoony one. 7. Just some random Heathers fanart. 8. I started trying some more dynamic poses. Here I tried to make her look really absentminded, but she ended up looking kinda wonky. 9. I just drew this for the practice of pleated skirts, something I would later draw hardly any of haha. I also really liked this one. I would call her a typical schoolgirl but she's not wearing the top for one so... 10. Trying yet another style! I basically just drew the simplified eyes with lots of shines, as well as practicing poses. (she's sitting on a short stool which is why her legs come up so high) 11. My first slightly-anime-ish drawing! This was pretty much straight out of a How-To-Draw manga book, but I was still pretty proud of it. 12. Found a new way to draw anatomy! I put her in a cute swimsuit to show that off, haha. I later stopped drawing bodies like this because it could only really be applied straight on, but it was still good practice and experimentation. 13. A chibi! This was just a random doodle in my math notebook but I still included it here because I actually remember kinda liking how it turned out. (crazy, right?) 14. Another random character design. 15. A typical Traditional Asian girl & attire. I was also trying a more cartoony style. 16. One of my OC's, Cheyenne! 17. The other one, Providence! 18. Chibi emotions and doodles 19. Experimenting with profile vs front views. 20. Another random character design... I was going for a more anime look with the hair. 21. Profile view, this time with color! 22. I was actually really proud of how this one turned out! First attempt at a more anime-based style and I was really proud of the result! 23. With the same style, some DDLC Sayori fanart! (idk if I should sensor it but there's a TRIGGER WARNING here) 24. Heather's fanart! This is Veronica... I would've put someone next to her but I ran out of space, rip 25. An extreme chibi! Just a random doodle but I thought it was cute soo... 26. Provina fanart/doodles!! (This is my and 's OC's) 27. Characters for my upcoming game! (It'll probably take a long time but this is a sneak-peek, follow me to see when it comes out, ) 28. Idek why I included this but I thought it was cute 29. Another random doodle I was proud of... 30. The same character design in chibi and manga. And that's it! I'll probably add more to it but for now that's how I've improved this year! Home you enjoy!
