Species name: Nelliby (Pronunciation: Nell-i-be) Nellibies are nocturnal, axolotl-like creatures who can put any creature to sleep. A physical appearance of a Nelliby includes a long tail and purple or blue eyes (black pupils if they're a scarry) There are 2 classes that Nellibies belong to: Lullies (Lull-y and Scarries (Scare-y) [I know original names bravo] Lullies are dream Nellibies. They are responsible for pleasant dreams and fantasies. Scarries are nightmare Nellibies. They are responsible for nightmares. Very rarely, a Nelliby will be sorted into both classes. This results in a class called Scaralell. Scaralells are extremely rare. They can make both a dream and a nightmare at the same time, and they are feared because of this. Design base: This is what the markings on a Nelliby look like. Lullies and Scarries have different patterns on their fins: Lullies have pleasant designs, while a Scarry would have a nightmarish pattern. A Scaralell has a mix of those patterns, looking like a hybrid of the two classes. A Lully is a dream spirit- a creature who creates dreams. Lullies are known for warding away Scarries, and bringing sweet dreams to the dreamer. Lullies usually have bright colors, and pleasant-looking patterns on their fins. Scarries are nightmare spirits-a creature that creates nightmares. Lullies are said to ward off Scarries, making Lullies a somewhat mortal enemy. Scarries usually have dark colors and spooky patterns on their fins. Scaralells are said to be the most mysterious kind of Nelliby. A hybrid-like creature, it is a mix of Lullies and Scarries. With the ability to create both a nightmare and a dream, Scaralells are feared, and are the most misunderstood Nellibies. Scaralells, being a hybrid, have design traits of both Lullies and Scarries. Scaralells also have two tails, with a half-and-half design. Nellibies do not live in the human realm- they live in another dimension. The dimension is split up into three kingdoms, each ruled by its respective class. The landscape is ever-changing, but each kingdom's theme affects the land. Example: Lully kingdom=bright and happy. Scarry kingdom=dark and nightmarish. General personality traits: Curious but timid/shy. Lully personality traits: Generally more friendly, calm, a bit more outgoing than their nightmarish counterpart. Scarry personality traits: More on edge, jumpy, quicker to jump to conclusions, slow to trust, quick to anger. Scaralell personalities are a mixture of Lully and Scarry personality traits. They don't trust easily, and usually more friendly to humans than the others. Creation: A Nelliby is created when someone's dream comes true or fails. Lullies are created when a postive, pure dream comes true. Scarries are made when a negative, dark dream comes true. Scaralells are created when a positive dream fails, or a negative dream ends up becoming positive. General physical appearance traits: fins with dark tips, a tail(s) with a dark outline. Lully physical appearance traits: purple or blue colored fins/tail Scarry physical appearance traits: black or grey colored fins/tail Scaralell physical appearance traits: three fins are Lully-colored, and the other three are Scarry-colored. The two tails have this color scheme as well.
