I reccomend HP and energy specials! +Added basic help section Sorry for the long update, I've had a ton of stuff to do :( The following information is for Pre-Release 1: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I bring you... ELECTRIC WARS (Pre-Release 1) Probably my greatest project so far, I have been working on it for a month now, and I thought I'd share it. This project uses many sounds from Scratch Resources (Listed in credits) and graphics drawn by me. Since help is not implemented yet, I guess I'll have to put it all here. CONTROLS: WASD to move Spacebar to shoot Number keys 1-5 to switch weapons Number keys 6-9 and 0 to use specials E to self-destruct all of your projectiles on the screen MECHANICS: SHIP DESIGNING lets you customize your ship. The first thing you will notice is the "Model" area. Clicking the shown ship will change it to the next model; there are currently four. Next, you will see several bars with green squares in them. These are the upgrade bars - They show your ship's stats. IMPORTANT: The higher your damage, the more energy it costs. Be careful, if you run out of energy you're really in a pickle! Green squares came with the model, blue ones you bought yourself. There are little [+] buttons to the right of the bars, these let you upgrade the stats at the cost of $10 per upgrade. The [Reset] button will reset your ship's stats to default, and refund your money. Finally, the two blue buttons let you buy starting powerups, and increase regeneration speed. ENEMY DAMAGE is obviously how much damage enemies do, and it increases throughout the game. It determines how much money you get, and a few other technical details. POWERUPS help you in various ways during the game. Currently there are only four; I'll add more later. The first one looks like your health bar, and it restores your health to full. This is similar to the health special; it restores energy to full. The third powerup looks like a green diagonal line. This powerup gives you a high-damage no-energy-loss radr sweep style weapon. It wiull rotate 5 times around you before running out. The fourth powerup, my favorite, looks like a red "T" with an arrow to a green "T". DO NOT fire if you have the SLIGHTEST chance you will miss! This AWESOME powerup, if it hits an enemy (Bosses don't count!) will take the enemies power and health and create an ally that will shoot down enemies for you. It has two stages. The first one will use it's power to shoot enenmies down (A blue icon will appear on the targeted enemy). The second stage will have it stay just in front of you, as a shield. NOTE: The higher the enemy damage is, the more effective the ally is, as the efficiency increases. WEAPONS: Format: # (The hotbar number) Power (The amount of power it takes) Damage (Damage it deals) Notes (Other info about weapon) Power consumption low Damage low Notes: Average weapon, 5 shots allowed on screen at once Power consumption low Damage low Notes: Shoots to mouse position, 3 allowed on screen Power consumption high Damage high Notes: IT'S AN INSANE LASER!!!! Power consumption medium Damage low to enemies, medium to bosses Notes: Follows mouse constantly, 1 allowed on screen Power consumption varies Damage varies Notes: Sort of a leech. It has no direct energy cost, but if it hits an eneym it will "infect" the enemy. The infected enemies: -cannot move (unless they are a boss) -CAN still fire at you -if you need health, will lose health and give it to you at the cost of your energy, until it dies CRDITS: Click the [About] button OTHER: Please help look for bugs!
