About her dark scales: I know no black scales was literally the only rule on silkwing coloration, but the books LITERALLY HAVE A SILKWING WITH BLACK STRIPES. And it's not even like it's unusual, apparently; No one batted an eye at the color in the books. I liked having that color rule, but being able to have them with black scales DOES give me much more range with drawing my silkwings more like the butterflies they're based on. Note: Sleepily was based off of the butterfly species Loxura atymnus.
