Dear Scratch, This is a formal thank you. To the Scratch Team, to the community, to the small group of people who have ever said anything nice about me. Thank you. I joined Scratch 4 years and 6 months ago on a different account. Since then, I've had over 30 separate accounts, each one loved, used, and discarded into the depths of the world wide web. These 4 and a half years have been a blast - I've improved everything, from my coding, my artwork, my typing style, my story telling - I've made myself a more creative person using this platform. I could go on about the flaws of Scratch, but at the end of the day, it's an amazing place for creative people - young and old - to come together and create whatever. It's a way to be yourself. I may have my grudges against 3.0 (still no recording tool!!) but I've learned how to use it, and honestly, it's great. Now, a thanks to the community. To the inspirations like @griffpatch, @bubble103, @TurboKitten, and more. People who have accepted my crazy, random, younger self being really cringeworthy but still putting up with me - I say thank you. I'd love to give a massive thanks to @IdleDots; you have been an inspiration to me, and for a while, a friend. We've fallen out of touch (my fault for abandoning Scratch for a year or so and always changing accounts) but you've always been so kind to everyone. This community is amazing, it's full of creative, kind, loving people. Finally, I'd like to say thank you to @LeiIani. You are wonderful. Your art is beautiful, you're kind, you put up with my constant messaging on your profile (sorry haha) and you always accept everyone. Next, the Scratch Team. You beautiful, beautiful humans. This website is amazing, be proud of what you've done! I'd love to say thanks to @ceebee and @paddle2see in particular. Ceebee, you always engage with the community and I'm not the only one to say you're an amazing member of the team. Paddle2See, you're also an amazing member of the team. When I was , I made a silly project about the team being cats, and it got over 1000 views. Pretty sure you saw that, and it makes me so happy when I get a notification from the Scratch Team seeing something I created. So, this is it. 4 and a half years and I'm here. Currently at 95 followers, the most I've ever had, and I couldn't be more grateful. The image in the project is of my 3 OCs from about 2 years ago that I actually kept up with () and their names were (from left to right) Meredith, Nathelie and Johnathan. They had no personalities but they were my own creation, and I was proud. Thank you, Scratch. Tea x
