Your goal is to achieve 5 kills on your opponent before they do! Pixel Gunners currently contains 9 unique classes with different strengths and weaknesses. More classes can be expected soon! Pixel Gunners features a relatively smart AI that can destroy you, if you are not careful! Score will now be displayed. v.2.3 3/1/19 Created weapon spray, AI has more spray than the player. Also various balancing -Jugger has more health now, since now three classes can kill it easily. Damage is also increased. -Soldier has increased fire rate, high spray, but relatively low recoil and low damage per bullet. -Sniper damage buffed, lowered HP. -Cowboy damage buffed, lowered fire rate a small bit. -Marksman fire rate buffed with lower recoil. v.2.4 Gun Update 3/4/19 Fixed bullets shooting from the center of the player, the now should shoot from the barrel. Also optimized Juggernaut spray. v.2.5 The Victory Update 3/4/19 You have to win 3 times in one round in order to actually win now. Created and enabled a simple respawn system v.2.5.7 GUI Edit 3/4/19 Removed almost all visible variables, character select screen is now similar to my previous game, Pixel Battlegrounds. v.2.6 Name Edit 3/4/19 The game now has a different name from its old counterpart. v.2.6.1 Thumbnail Edit 3/4/19 The thumbnail has been edited to show off all the characters in the game. v.2.7 Menu Edit and Difficulty Addition 3/5/19 Made the menu much more animated. Difficulty is now a thing, with aimbot being terrifying. v.2.7.1 Balances 3/6/19 Removed Aimbot due to a weird bug where the AI wouldn't shoot, made hard mode harder. v.2.7.2 Aimbot Re-insertation 3/6/19 Re-inserted Aimbot as Insane. Made hard mode easier. Also edited a map to fix a glitch. v.2.8 3/8/19 Created a machine-gun class called Rambo with some basic MG art. Will improve art later, and will also add player info later. Also added the Grenadier, may be broken. v.2.8.3 Art Replacements 3/8/19 Removed some placeholder art and inserted actual art. Weapons for both Rambo and the Grenadier are yet to be detailed and furnished. Detection radius for the grenade to explode has now been lowered. v.2.8.4 3/11/19 Bullet Fix Bullets don't disappear when you die, they now disappear after you respawn. Bullets also should not respond to sprite broadcasts, only to clone-specific broadcasts unless unspecified. v.2.8.5 3/11/19 New Class Created the Pyro! Mostly placeholder art for now, no scripts in AI for Pyro yet. v.2.9 3/11/19 Finalized Class Batch Re-drew Pyro and Grenadier weapons and helmets, Finished remodels, sounds for explosion and flamethrower have been added. AI "Insane" recoil control has been changed a small bit due to the nature of the Pyro and Rambo. v.2.9.4 Score Visibility 3/13/19 The score is no longer shown as a variable. It is now shown as a sprites. v.2.9.6 "King" System 3/14/19 You can easily tell who is winning now by a "crown" over the winning player's head. Also removed hotfixes from changelog to reduce description size. v.2.9.7 Death Particles 3/14/19 Hey, its Pi day! Players will now explode into particles when killed. Small buff to Soldier so it can stand up to Rambo. v.2.10 The Map Update 3/15/19 Made maps a bit more detailed while keeping the old style, and maps have been named now. You can now choose maps, and a map name pops up when you start the game. v.2.11 Massive Art Refurnish 3/15/19 Re-drew head sprites, guns, and the running animation. Now arms are no longer straight, they are slightly different depending on what weapon is being held. Also changed the victory announcement sprites to match the other announcements. v.2.11.2 Pause Feature 3/18/19 You can press "P" to pause now. v.2.11.5 New Character 3/20/19 Created the Tankman from Newgrounds. Mostly placeholder sprites, and no Tankman code in the AI yet. v.2.11.6 Tankman Finalization 3/21/19 Finished Tankman features and abilities, implemented the scripts into the AI. Replaced all placeholders. v.2.12 Kill Flairs 3/21/19 Along with kill announcements, there will now be a special kill flair depending on how well you're doing. v.2.12.3 Character Changes 11/7/19 Buffed cowboy accuracy, nerfed his recoil. v.2.13 Double Jump 11/13/19 Double jump is now enabled. v.2.14.1 Change Difficulty Fix 9/30/20 Fixed how the player could accidentally hit the difficulty change button while in-game. Also enabled headshot damage with a new headshot hitmarker and changed AI settings..
