Or, if they're mint-fed, they'll taste minty. Remember, all of this is from different people's experiences with eating bugs/insects. Scorpions have a nice beef jerky type of flavor and a slightly fishy taste. Tarantulas taste meaty. Their legs taste like chicken, so people say. Crickets are usually cooked until crispy and have a popcorn-like/nutty taste. Mealworms have a very mild taste, but have large amounts of protein. They taste a bit nutty if roasted. Raw termites taste like pineapple, and cooked termites taste like vegetables. Fried baby bees taste like smoked fish or oysters. Fried moth wax larvae taste either like corn puffs or potato chips.
