Click The Different Arrow Keys to see the 3 different types of Tectonic Plate Boundaries. Press Space To reset. Description: This Project shows an interactive animation, allowing the user to see the different Boundaries and their effect. Please consult The lower instructions for more detail on each one. If you Click The arrows facing (From top down) Down and up INTO the Plates, The land masses with have a convergent Boundary. They collide forming earthquakes and a mountain range (The Dark Green) between them. While This happens, earthquakes (Yellow Circles) Will happen on both plates. If you Click The arrows (From top down) Facing Down and up AWAY from the Plates, The land masses will have a divergent boundary. This is where The plates move away from each other. You'll again see Earthquakes, and At the end A lake/Ocean (Blue Square) will have appeared. On that plates will be Volcanes (Red Circle) and underwater volcanoes (Black circle with red on it). If you Click The arrows on the side, A Transform boundary will happen. This is where they slide past each other. You will see the most earthquakes (yellow circles) out of all of the bounds. You can follow the moving river (Blue Line) that ends up creating a separate path and an abandoned river bed (Black Line).
