It's been ten years. That's a long time. It's been a while since I released by last project, and I'm in no way traditionally "active" anymore, but I just wanted to hop in for a minute to reflect on how this website has truly changed my life. I joined this website when I was ten. Now, ten years later, well, it's been a while. But despite that time gap, I don't feel like I'll ever truly separate from this website. I don't think I've ever found another website or program similar to Scratch. By allowing kids to make whatever they want, Scratch has undoubtedly inspired thousands of kids to pursue creativity in their lives, fostering artists, animators, musicians, and programmers alike. For me, using Scratch was my first step to becoming a game developer. Due to the amazing community this website offers, I created and shared nearly a hundred small games - and a few big ones. Now, that same creativity has driven me to this point, where I'm currently developing a game for Steam. The Scratch Team has done something amazing with this website, and I can't thank them enough for it. These past ten years have jump-started the rest of my life, and I have Scratch to thank for the starting point. So, here's to hoping a new generation of kids find inspiration on this awesome website. Here's to another ten years of creativity. It's been crazy.
