They sat upon a pile of rocks until one day, they were selected. Them! Was this really happening? They were being selected! As they were picked up, they saw the loving face of a twelve year old boy. The boy said, "Hi, I'm going to name you Joey, and we'll be best friends forever!" and so they were. As the boy grew older and older, he kept loving Joey, and Joey loved the man back. But, as all wonderful things must come to an end, eventually the man died peacefully of old age. It left a crack in Joey, one that could never be filled.
