----------------------------STORY--------------------------- Shaia the lynx had only one kit- a handsome son, but one of his hind legs was crippled. Despite her efforts, he began to fall into despair. He was weakening, but she brought him back up by telling him that no matter what, she would always be there for him. Until he was able to adapt, Shaia stayed by his side. But Shaia grew old. It was very nearly time for her son, named Kobie, to find a mate. Shaia could feel her life waning. She slipped away in the night and was never seen again. Kobie found a mate who looked past the crippled leg and saw the silver lining shining out, and all of their kits were healthy and not one crippled. This was because Kobie's cripple was due to an injury that happened at birth, it was not a genetic problem that would haunt his descendants for all of eternity. (lol le cringe XD)
