Press the green flag twice. Dang can't call the blood ketchup this time BACKSTORY: The character is young Gallade (my fursona). Poor young bean. He's been through so much. Note the mark on his arm is a huge belt mark that stretches from his chest to his back. He was born with his ghostly coloration, crying eyes, red tears, black blood, and stitches over his mouth (not to mention his secret ability to grow wings when he's feeling really strong emotions.) His parents were nice people, but one look at Gallade and they hated him forever. They constantly told him he was not what they wanted and beat him on a daily basis, as if punishing him for being alive. He was avoided, neglected, and wasn't allowed at school half the time because he was distracting the other students. He started wearing a black bandana over his mouth to hide his stitches, so he was allowed back in school, but that still didn't stop the weird stares he got. He was so alone, all the time, and grew quiet, eventually going mute as he got older. But when he was thirteen, something clicked to him. Instead of feeling numb acceptance when he was beaten, he felt anger. A few days after he turned thirteen, he was beaten. His father told him to stand up and slapped him right in the face. But this time, Gallade was filled with so much anger, he hit back. That very night, at two in the morning, his parents drove him to the city where they abandoned him. After two years of living on the streets, when he was fifteen, he got picked up by the foster care program and given to new parents. They were nicer, but really strict (Gallade still thought they were the nicest people in the world because they didn't beat him.) But he was really neglected. Okay, he was used to being starved. But then things changed a few months later when he realized that his foster parents only took him in so they could feed off the money the government gave them for taking care of him. He was so upset he grew wings right in front of them. They were so scared they abandoned him the very next day as well. CURRENT STORY ( I guess): But a while later (he had been living in an abandoned shack he found) when he was twenty, he met Nala. She was the only person who accepted him. When they were twenty two they got married, and at twenty three had Mindy. But in this period, Gallade's secret wings had been uncovered, and he was taken to a mental hospital to be tested on. Now, Gallade's only motivation to live is to make sure his child, Mindy, didn't face the same past he did. But then he realized that people would discriminate against her because of who her father was. He had no reason to live anymore. *caution children* So he did something. Gallade has now joined the black parade, but he doesn't feel any better about himself. Poor kid. All he can think anymore is "mom and dad were right. I am going to burn in h***." Scratch don't kill me for saying that
