Growing up, he heard stories of better worlds. He grew up and went off on his own, passing them off as nothing more than hopeless fantasies. One day, he saw a small blue flame in the desert. His childhood wonder came back to him, and he touched it. He traveled through the in-between, and had an encounter with the creator of worlds, From this, he gained powers and a connection with the creator. He ended up in another world. One of magic and castles. He spent time exploring there and developing his powers, until one day, he spotted another flame, and took his chance. He arrived in a new place, but his powers and connection to the creator and in-between got him noticed by "The Organization" a group of inter-dimensional police dealing with anomalies. He was invited to join their ranks. If he did, he would gain the ability to control the blue fire and travel the in-between at will, but would be blinded and muted so that he wouldn't be driven crazy by the in-between. However, they found out he actually had an immunity to the in-between, and he was only made to wear a mouth cover. He was with them for a while, learning about the worlds and traveling to them. One day he received a calling, and became The Watcher. He could watch the stories and worlds be made and play out, without affecting them.
