In this simulation, dinosaurs start out turquoise as babies, then turn green if they are male, or blue if they are female. Female dinos will spawn offspring if they collide with a made dino. Genetic information is only passed down from the mothers (it was easier to code that way). The heritable traits are size and movement speed, but babies will have slight variations from their mothers. The size multiplier slider determines how much size variation offspring will have from their mothers. The balls are food, and dinosaurs will die if they go too long without food. You can click on dinosaurs to kill them. This allows you to do some artificial selection.
This was originally going to be called Evolution Simulator, but it reminded me more of bacteria growing in a Petri dish. Adjust the sliders to simulate environmental factors, and see how it effects the dinosaurs. See if you can control the evolution of your dinosaurs.
