a simulator of organisms i refer to as clones (because that's literally all they are) at the start, 10 to 20 clones are created with similar traits. when a new clone is created, it has a chance to mutate (1/10) if the population drops below 5 clones, a new original one is created the next day. press the play/pause button to play/pause when the day is done (background turns purple), food vanishes, and you can press space to move on to the next day.
this simulator was inspired by primers video on natural selection: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZGbIKd0XrM about the AI of the clones: i designed the AI myself. here is a list of objectives in order from most important to least important clone objectives: * head towards edge when tired and fed * run away from predators * eat food * eat prey * head towards edge when fed. * head towards middle area * wander aimlessly to be added: * a menu where you can customize what types of clones spawn * customize individual clones * the ability to play as an individual clone * gender and mating * more intelligence/DNA * nesting + eggs
