Yo! Here's my entry for these three amazing chars!!! All designs are @hold-onto-anything's! Sea Shanty- Sea Shanty was a captain of a feared band of pirates. He and his crew were well known throughout the lands, and the crew became quite wealthy through pirating, and, after a while decided that Sea Shanty was just slowing them down. They staged a mutiny, throwing Sea Shanty off the ship, where they assumed he drowned. However, while underwater, something strange happened to Shanty. His eyes began to glow, making it easier for him to see through the murky water. He also realized that he was no longer struggling to breath under the water. Upon further inspection, he realized his tail had turned into a tail, like a shark’s. He did not know how or who did this, but Sea Shanty was certain as to what he was supposed to use this “second chance” for- revenge. He went to the nearest port, and began to assemble a new crew of sorts, to take back what had been taken from him. Crystals (Arpina) - Arpina didn’t mean to fall into another universe. Really, she didn’t. She just saw something sparkly in the cave, and missed the fact that there was a large hole in front of said sparkly thing. It was a surprising feeling, transitioning so fast from having all four feet planted safely on the ground to suddenly free falling through the void. More surprising though, was when she landed safely, in what looked to be the same cave. There was no hole though, she had checked this time, and it seemed to be night time. The sky was… a bit off to say the least. There were so many stars, it seemed the entire sky was shimmering. She looked at the front of the cave, and saw a strange crystal formation. Arpina, naturally curious about whatever this was, approached, and put a hoof on the crystal. She felt something in the crystal. Some sort of pulsing. Then, as soon as it had started, it stopped. She could still feel the pulsing. The crystal formation began to crumble into nothingness, which Arpina gathered was not normal crystal behavior. The pulsing was still there. Arpina had a sudden, confused thought. The pulsing wasn’t inside her, was it? She walked over to a small lake, and jumped back when she saw her reflection. Her eyes were covered in the same, iridescent green crystal that the formation had been. She could still see completely, which allowed her to also see the crystals jutting out from her back, like spikes. She turned back to the cave, and realization hit her. She wasn’t sure where everything came from, but she understood what was going on, even though she really didn’t. She had been chosen for something, by the crystals. The crystals were alive, and now were a part of her. She didn’t feel worried about this in the slightest though. Somehow, it comforted her. Ash and Dust (Arran)- Arran was one of those conspiracy theorist people who thought the world was going to end like every third Friday of the month, so most people just thought he was an idiot. Joke’s on them though, as the world actually did end. Arran was shielded from whatever the heck went down, as his unusually paranoid self had built his house like an underground bunker. He was actually asleep when the apocalypse happened, so he really doesn’t know what actually happened, just that it was definitely an explosive ending. He is overly prepared for every situation that may come out of the fact that the world ended, so he just wanders around and helps others that he sees.
