One of the most common clocks that is known around the world is the Big Ben, located in London. The Big Ben is a type of Westminster Clock which chimes every quarter hour. The project simulates this without having to go anywhere! [Tip: Use turbo-mode (shift+flag) for more swift movement! Fullscreen also works well.] ==FEATURES== 1) Togglable modes: -Click the green flag to fully start the project with accurate time readings and precise chiming every 15 minutes -Click the stop sign once after the green flag to start the project with accurate time readings but with muted chimes (the screen should blink lightly for a quick millisecond once pressed) -Click the stop sign twice to fully stop the project (the clock arms should vanish) 2) Changeable Day/Night Cycle The background of the project will change accordingly to the time of day. This day/night cycle is also programmed to be able to be modified inside the list in the sprite. 3) Precisely Timed Chimes This project will accurately chime every 15 minutes, and on the hour, the chime is followed by one strike for the number of hours (in 12 hour clock form). One strike for 1:00, two strikes for 2:00, etc. 4) One Sprite This whole entire project fits into one compact sprite! If you are going to use it, just stuff it in your backpack and make sure to leave credit! ==See Also== Commentary for Big Ben: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/306923051/ Learn more about Westminster Clocks: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westminster_Quarters Learn more about Big Ben: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Ben ==Credits== -Some costumes were borrowed from the Internet and @BeachBoy99. -The chime sounds were from the Internet. -All other programs and effects were made by @TenType. ==Update Log== -v1.0 [5/5/19] Released! -v1.1 [5/6/19] Fixed a lighting glitch, adjusted the chime timing so it will can be a bit quicker
