Here is my Mobile Engine Pack! This project contains a bunch of things you can use to make your projects mobile-friendly. There's an Intro for making mobile-friendly projects easy to identify, an easily customizable Menu Screen, a fancy Mouse Follower, an advanced Swipe Detector, a simple system for 8-Directional Movement, and a smooth Map Drag engine! Select an engine from the menu screen, and click to hide the notice on how it works. Experiment with it, and click the exit button to return to the menu screen. To see the intro, click the green flag again. To use these in your projects, simply drag one of the 6 sprites starting with 'MF' into the backpack, depending on which engine you want to use. All of them are specially designed to work straight away as soon as the broadcasts are connected, but you should edit them as much as you want to. Please credit @happybird123 in the description if you use them.
Ever since starting the Mobile-Friendly Projects studio, and especially since starting the Mobile-Friendly Resources studio, I've been interested in engines for use in making projects mobile-friendly. So I made this project, containing 6 things that you can use in your projects! All of them are free to use, so try them out! All of the scripts in the project were made by me, although some of them were loosely based on other people's projects. The graphics and music are also made by me. You can use those in your projects too, but please give credit. Examples of ways these could be used: The Menu Screen could be used as a menu, but also as a hyperlinking web structure. The Mouse Follower could be used for a chase game, where obstacles could get in the way to slow the following movement. The Swipe Detector could be used as a slingshot, to flick things onto targets in a game. The 8-Directional Movement engine could be used as an RPG mechanic, or as an arcade shooter. The Map Drag engine could be used to explore a set of beautiful landscapes. Link to Mobile-Friendly Projects studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/5801569/ Link to Mobile-Friendly Resources studio:
