Still working... For now just press flag Press space to change starting conditions, and up arrow to hide them Press a to view stats on each green thing, and s to hide the stats ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here's what each of the variables means: The ones along the top and the left should be fairly self-explanatory. The averages are calculated out of all living green things, and once the max population is reached, evolution can still happen, but no offspring will be produced. Start food is the amount of food that each blob has when they are born Food regeneration is how much new food will be produced each day, and food spread is how far it will spread from it's parent food. Food per day is the start food, up to ten more food is possible on top of that number. Spontaneous regeneration time effects how long it takes for food to come back after all of it is eaten. Also, the generation list tells you what generation each blob belongs to. Again, the other lists should be fairly obvious. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now for a basic explanation of the mechanics of it: The purple dots are food. They regenerate no matter what, they spread if there is room to spread to. When the green dots touch them, they gain food based inversely on their speed and sense. If they detect food inside their sense radius, they will travel instantly to it, otherwise they will move in a random direction. If they collect a fair bit of food, they can reproduce, which can be producing offspring, but if the population is too high, it will just randomize it's own stats. If their food gets very high, they will produce a brown dot with little nutritional value and decrease their food levels. When they touch each other, there is a small chance that can increase over time that the larger one will eat the smaller one. That's about it
Takes about a second to load up There is probably a bug in the start up that makes them all die prematurely. If this happens, just restart (Unconfirmed) there may be a glitch that makes them all die for no reason
