Clan Name: AlgidClan Territory: A Taiga type biome, not exactly marshy, kind of average. However, there is a strange cold wind that blows throughout their territory Backstory: It was originally a small group of rogues led by a cat named Claw. Claw had murderous ideals, and demanded that each and every cat within his group hunt in the nearby forest. Btw, These rogues had settled by the edge of the forest, venturing into the forest during nighttime to hunt for Claw. One day, Claw's rogue group was discovered by a small group of mountain cats who were looking for a new home. When they accidentally entered onto the group's territory, they were ambushed by the rogue group. Because of that, they fled to the nearby pine forest (aka soon to be Algid Clan's territory) in order to rest. After two sunsets of resting, The youngest mountain cat, Summit (who was about 6.5 moons old at the time) ventured out with an older Mountain cat named Phoenix in order to get food for the rest of their group. Summit accidentally chased a mouse into the Rogues' territory, and was almost attacked Claw when Phoenix stopped Claw. Phoenix and Claw fought, while Summit watched. Phoenix ended up dying, which caused Summit to be alone, in front of Claw. Claw decided to take Summit in and raise him to be a murderer. So, that is what Claw did. He made his subordinate, Metal, take Summit in as his kit. Summit soon began training to become a fighter after his arrival into the rogues' group. After many moons of training and hunting, Summit had mastered the basics of fighting, and was accepted by the rogues as one of them, despite previously being their enemy. However, deep in his heart, he still had some rage towards the rogues. He didn't like the way they believed in killing for fun, and how they treated each other like garbage. There was only one rogue who knew about Summit's angers. Claw's daughter, Fang. She was Summit's only friend, and was abused by the rest of the clan. Summit hated this, and he never knew why, but he always hated watching her be abused. He decided that it was time that he left the group, so he did. One cold night, he left. He decided to rest under a crooked pine tree. That night, he had a dream where he encountered his dead friend, Phoenix. Phoenix spoke thus to him: "The Algid of the sky will guide thee." Sure enough, when Summit woke up, there was a strong, cold wind blowing towards the direction of his old camp. As he followed the flow of the wind, He noted that this looked familiar, and continued. He found himself near the entrance of the old settlement. Cats still lived there, and when they saw him, their eyes nearly popped out of their heads. Apparently, Summit had become a legend to them, as a way to stop kits from leaving the settlement. When it was official to the group that Summit had returned for good to the settlement, everybody was overjoyed. Summit was happy for about 6 moons. But, that's when it happened. All of a sudden, that same wind picked up, blowing intensely to the border near the rogue group camp. As Summit was walking along the Settlement's border, he noticed a familiar scent. It turned out to be Fang, who had fainted from blood loss, and was lying unconscious on the ground. The wind was directed in Fang's direction. Summit thought non of it at the time, as he was more concerned about his old friend's health. As he grabbed her by the scruff and ran back to camp. He took her to the healer of their group, and the healer tried their hardest to fix Fang. Fang survived, with Summit by her side. After hearing Fang's testimony, Fang was accepted into the settlement. After a moon and a half of secretly loving Summit, Fang decided to confess. One night, when Fang and Summit were alone, Fang confessed her love. Summit declared that he loved her too, and from that day on they were mates. After 5 peaceful moons, when cats in neighboring territories had begun to talk about creating clans, A rogue appeared on the settlement territory. The rogue stormed into their camp and demanded that they get Fang back. The leader of the settlement (who was an older cat named Branch) protested, saying that Fang was her own cat and chose the settlement herself, The leader was attacked and killed by that very rogue. Summit, who had just finished patrol at this time, discovered Branch's death and apprehended the rogue. Summit was hailed as a hero and became the new leader in Branch's place. The settlement cats loved Summit's Strong sense of justice and insane willpower, so they wanted him as a leader anyway. Only two sunsets after the first ambush, another three rogues arrived, demanding that they got Fang back. Of course, they refused, and the rogues were forced to flee because they were outnumbered. At this time in our storyline, the clan roles were beginning to fall into place, and there was an apprentice system, a med cat system, as well as a queen system, however there were no elder systems or deputy systems yet.>>>
>>>Five sunsets after the three rogues showed up, Summit received another dream. This time, both Phoenix and Branch were there. They spoke thus to him: "When the moon is blood, claws will strike through the cold heart." Mystified, Summit brushed it off. He thought nothing of it until the Blood Moon that occurred a moon later. Claw and his small army of rogues approached the settlement and attacked. As Summit was busy battling his old group mates, He noticed the wind pressure got heavier. The wind picked up, and changed directions. The wind was directed towards the Leader's den. Hearing the whispers of the cats that had given the prophecy, he continued on. As he walked into his own den, he watched his mate's life being torn from her by her own father, with his own eyes. He felt a boost of adrenaline and engaged in battle with Claw. He ended up with Claw dead, so the rogues fled. But the battle had cost him his mate, Leaving a cold wind in his heart forever. When the neighboring settlements began making clans, Summit's Settlement Decided to create a Clan too. Summit thought about the name for awhile, and, after awhile, he decided to name it AlgidClan, and take on the name "Algidstar", after the Algid of the sky, the wind that guided his and the clan's life. Legend has it that the wind appears to guide lost cats, but nobody knows for sure. Rules: Same rules as the usual clan. Clan Traits: Typically Thicker fur, thicker claws, etc
