I made this myself but didn't even know what sine and cosine were. I will try to explain how this works. There is a red dot within a circle. This dot also has three lines. line a (green) is the Y-position of the dot. line b (blue) is the X-position of the dot. Then there is line c, well... it's just a line to the dot. With these three lines, you can form a triangle by placing line 1 on the right. Finally, calculate angle A. This can be done when you know that angle B is always 90°. The formula for sin(A): sin(A) = a * sin(B) / b
