The title of this project should be A.I Square solves Your maze! (sort of). Or even, A.I Square solves Your maze! (If you have a year). But thanks to the great gumboot in the sky, (wellies for you english folk) I am forced to leave out the (sort of) (and if you have a year). Basically the square gets past what's on the screen to the end in the most annoying roundabout way in the world. Enjoy!
FAQ Q: I made my maze, but the square isn't starting! A: OK. How about you look in the topmost righthandest corner and there is a handy variable called what was it? Oh yes! LAVA That will handily and usefully and other synonyms for conveniently tell you how much lava you have left! "How does that relate to my question" I hear you asking. Well, the square only starts when LAVA is below 0. I could have just said that at the start couldn't I? Ah well! Q: Your A.I sucks! This square can't even get past a line! A: Yes my A.I sucks. It's just random movements across the screen stored in a list. When the square hits a bad thing (your line) it just changes the last line of movement to something that isn't leading them into lava. So theoretically this square could solve the world's toughest mazes just by trial and error. However this takes time, and I have realised that you don't want to be stuck watching a square for (*typing sound*) the great google does not have an answer. I shall ask the great gumboot in the sky. Golly gosh darn it! The square has spent 50 attempts and still hasn't done a blasted thing! I shall have to rewrite his movement so there is more chance of him getting to the finishing line!
