Move the mouse left and right to control the movement of the plane. Left click to fire the autocannon. Space to fire missiles. The green and red targeting circle shows the heat level of the gun, the ammuniton remaining, and the status of the missile lock. When the targeting circle is on the enemy plane, there will be three red bars on either side of the reticle, representing the status of the missile lock. The missile can only be fired when it is locked. The targeting reticle must be kept on the enemy plane, or else it will lose the lock. Once the missile is fired, there is a 2/3 chance that the enemy plane will deploy chaff, meaning that the missile will not damage the enemy. The red circle around the reticle shows the amount of ammunition left loaded in the gun. It is divided into fourths, and each fourth represents a fourth of the ammo left. Once all of the quarters are gone, the gun will automatically reload itself. The red line in the middle of the reticle represents the heat level of the gun. If the line makes one complete revolution, the gun will overheat and stop firing.
This project was made entirely by myself, with the exemption of one script that is used to create the healthbars at the top. It is made by TheLogFather and can be found here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/18482376
