This generator is for equal temperament (ET) scales. Turbo Mode (shift+click green flag) is required for this to work properly. Adjust the number of tones in an octave to what you want. For example, if you want a 31-ET scale, move the slider to 31, or press the left and right keys. Then click "Play scale" (or the space key) to see how it sounds. Interactive keyboard: "`" is middle C, and every key from left to right will increase by [interval in cents]. List of keys: `1234567890-=qwertyuiop[]\asdfghjkl;'zxcvbnm,./ (47 keys) Also, don't move the slider when the scale is still running if not it will mess up.
To find out more about microtonal music, check out the Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microtonal_music I plan to fix the bug where when you change the slider when the scale is still playing, it messes up. All sounds were, amazingly, provided from Scratch. Never knew it could play microtones!
