Heyy this is @KidCulture! @GeoBIRRRRD's nerd account :D By the way, I got more recently: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/320512430/ This starts from my smallest rocks, and gradually goes on to the cooler and bigger ones. So if you're just here to see the stuff in the thumbnail, go through this project backwards. All coding is free to use, but credit me, @GeoBIRRRRD (Or @KidCulture) Now onto the rocks! 0. My hand and my 3-shelf collection 1. Pyrite! Or fools gold, whichever one you prefer 2. Blueish green and purple fluorite 3. Hematite (Man, my camera quality is bad) 4. Orchid calcite I'm preeetty sure. 5. Picture Jasper, my first jasper I have ever got! 6. A bunch of red jasper :) 7. Amethyst <3 8. A little army of calcite. Although I'm pretty sure an onyx is hiding in there... (Please tell me if you find it!!) 9. Super duper extra smol piece of Staroulite. 10. I think it's some sort if multi-colored calcite. It's a type of calcite, for sure. 11. Petrified wewd- 12. So among my Fluorite collection I found this cool lil' one. Although it's mostly blueish-green, it also has a very tiny layer of purple. Which I pointed out on it :D 13. Sodalite 14. Raw sapphire 15. Quartz army!! 16. Citrine 17. Adventurine, they're all green, but the weird lighting is just making them look different. 18. Miserably small pieces of obsidian :/ 19. Unakite 20. Fuchsite 21. Chalcopyrite 22. Rose quartz, again, not very pink because of the lighting :') 23. A strange looking carnelian... 24. Ah so this is where the fun ones begin! These are crystal quartz points. 25. Agates, the blue one is from India, and the rest are from Lake Superior. 26. Snowflake obsidian 27. Zebra jasper 28. Black Tourmaline 29. You can probably read it :P 30. Scoria I collected from Jeju Island, South Korea! They're everywhere. 31. Giant piece of calcite from Mexico, fidget spinner for comparison :) 32. Iceland Spar! See how the mineral can double refract light? You can see it doing it with this line I drew. 33. Chalcedony, kinda looks gross. Ew >:P 34. hHEHhh failed attempt at making bismuth crystals. But they're still pretty so I kept them. 35. Tiger's Eye 36. Some nice zeolites I collected in Iceland :D 37. Geodes! The two in the back are about the size of that fidget spinner. 38. Also the size of the fidget spinner, this is a big Quartz point. 39. An actually good bismuth crystal made in Germany. 40. This druzy agate geode is my first rock I ever got. I got it for free from a generous vendor in Sedona, and boom, started collecting more! 41. Malachite 42. Ammonite, my first (and only) fossil 43. My personal favorite type of jasper, ocean jasper! This one is from Madagascar <3 44. Aragonite from Morocco 45. Azurite from Morocco 46. Thomsonite, my favorite mineral! These were from Cook County and Grand Marais in Minnesota. 47. People who have seen my collection all say that this massive geode is their favorite out of all of them. It's filled with quartz, and is a little bigger than a regular school folder. 48. My entire rock, mineral, and shell collection displayed on the kitchen table. ---------------------------- Photos and minerals: Coding: Audio: Fredji ft Arcade - Ocean Thanks for checking this project out!
