This makes me really happy! :) 3/8/2020 - Kicked off of Top Loved but now on Top Remixed lol ------------------------------------------------------------ The reason I made this game is because, a little known fact about me is that I like to speedrun games. In fact, there's a website called speedrun.com that I like to check out, and I personally have an account on that website, and you can upload your times of certain games with video proof. I myself actually have held 2 world records on unpopular games on that website, and it feels amazing. As mentioned in my About Me, I have speedran New Super Mario Bros Wii, and have a time of 26:55, which is around 60th worldwide. It's super fun! I haven't seen many speedrun-dedicated games on scratch, only a few. And it's just soo fun to try and play a game with a timer, and challenge yourself over and over to beat that time. It adds a TON of replay value, and getting a Personal Best (PB) Time is such a great feeling. So I decided to bring another speedrunning game to scratch, and really focussed on the level design here. So this is the 4th installment to my Super Mario Odyssey series by 23ScratchMan: SpeedRunning In The Sand Kingdom ---------------------------------------------------------- About The Game: You control Mario in the "Sand Kingdom" (it's just a sand and ice themed level) with or without Cappy and collect things under a timer. At the start of the game, you can choose what you want to speedrun. These are called your categories. Any% Coin% Purple% and 100% Rules are listed in game for each category! -------------------------------------------------------- Instructions: Click - Main Menu Buttons Left/A - Move Left Right/D - Move Right Up/W - Jump Down/S - Crouch Y/E - Throw Cap* Jump + Crouch - Ground Pound Ground Pound + Cap - Dive Crouch + Cap - Roll If you enable the use of Cappy, you can throw your cap and bounce on it. Then you can chain movements and dive onto your cap up to 2 times. If you master the Cappy Dive, you can get SUCH a good time in every cappy category. More rules are explained in game. It is recommended, for whatever category you run, for your first run, LEARN THE LEVEL. Make sure you know where you're going, so when you're ready to actually speedrun the game, you have a mental route in your head to follow for the fastest time.
