*oo* Yo! This is part 14 for the Earth MAP, hosted by @scratchmaster678. This really didn't turn out as complex as I was hoping, i was trying to add a sunset and a whale at some point, but the project kept glitching and i ran out of time (and probably assets as well), so we got this instead. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ *oo* Oh, while we're here, i feel like I should talk about why i haven't shared a project in five months (that's a record right there, folks). The thing is, I'm not interested in Scratch anymore. I did once see the project that was like "don't quit scratch!!" (or whatever it was, I can't find it), and it said that every Scratcher's "mission" was to make Scratch fun, and they can always do that. Yeah, sorry bro, but I disagree. As we grow and age, our interests change. We might like playing games one year and might not enjoy them next year, be in one sport one month, and a different sport the next. Oh, this is getting too sappy too fast. But what my point is, my interests have changed as well. So what? You can do a lot of things on Scratch. You can make games, animations, art, surveys, music makers, all sorts of stuff. If my interests have changed, why aren't I interested in Scratch if it has so much to offer? Well, here's why - even if you can do a bunch of stuff with Scratch, it's always a coding language. It's always coding with blocks. And it can't change. I've just grown to not enjoy coding as much as I used to ("Well why don't you just code something else?" Read my statement above again, buddy.). And at the same time, I've grown to enjoy other things more, like theater and gymnastics. Especially gymnastics. Oh, and those things also take up time. I just don't have the time to code on Scratch, and even if I did, I wouldn't use my time like that, because like I said, I don't enjoy it as much. Don't get me wrong, I still love Scratch and this def ain't going to be the last project I'm going to share ever. Maybe I'll get inspired and code again someday, but probably not today or this week. I'm not trying to make Scratch seem bad or boring, and I'm totally fine if you like or don't like it, or if there are some aspects you don't like. Everyone is different and thus has different interests--different needs to have fun. Oh, I'm also not quitting btw and it's not like I never use Scratch. I still comment and love projects and stuff, I just don't code as much. Quitting and not logging on at all isn't in my future anytime soon. *o Credits o* Song - Earth (Clean version) by Lil Dicky Host - Art, animation, and coding - ~Sun
