hey everyone! (before you get your hopes up, this is not an announcement to say i'll be making projects again. i'm not.) i've been off of scratch for a bit more than a year now, and let me say that i still think leaving was the best decision i could have made. the animation community on this site has rapidly devolved into a toxic group of lazy individuals that has no care for effort or actual quality. as shown by what appears on the front phe age, it's evident that the main audience of scratch animators has significantly changed since i've left the platform, and doesn't fit the type of content i'd want to create anyways. years ago, this was the perfect place for me and what i created, but clearly that is no longer the case. ever since the first episode of apocalyptic was (wrongfully) featured, the amount of people who actually care about my account had been in a steady decline. each episode of the series consistently attracted fewer people, and almost everything else i created was practically seen by nobody. as much as i enjoyed creating scratch projects, i really didn't see a point in pouring so much of my life into something that nobody was going to care about. that being said, i do miss this site. i miss the days when i would come on here every day and watch projects, animate, and talk with friends for hours. this used to be a wonderful community, and i will always cherish what scratch did for me and my future. at this point, i'm not sure if anyone cares about this account enough to see this project at all, let alone read this entire thing. but if you are reading this, thank you. thank you for supporting me and constantly helping me through my incredible scratch journey. my time on scratch may have ended long ago, but the memories i made and the lessons i learned will live on for a very long time. thank you so much, everyone. you all are some of the best friends i've ever had.
