Thanks so much for giving me Cloud!
Name - Cloud Age - 11 (cat years) Cloud halted. Cautiously he looked around. Eyes stretching wide, he saw giant creatures soaring above his head. Although they were close, he could not figure out what they were. He watched until they approached a distant mountain and stopped. Without a second thought, Cloud picked up his paws and raced through the woods towards the mountains.Time passed as he made progress towards the mountains. Finally, he flopped down at the bottom of the towering one, he was going to rest before even thinking of attempting to climb it. Cloud woke as he was shuved onto the floor. Were was he? Who were these strange cats? Angrily, he forced his way to his paws.Teeth bared he growled, "who are you? Get off me!" he couldn't see these strange cats because shadows covered them. Suddenly, a voice sounded from the midst of the room. "Welcome young one. We are the Winged Pilots, it seems you have wondered into our territory." All at once, the shadow lifted from the room and he saw the cats. He gasped. Each one of them had a graceful pair of wings. They bowed their heads and stretched their wings. They were at least a cat-length long. "Not many cats find our set, therefore we present you with an enormous offer. You have been officially invited to be a winged pilot among us." the cat presented. Cloud gaped. "Of course I would LOVE to join the Winged Pilots! But...I don't have wings...." "Don't worry about that. Now, what's your name?" the cat asked. "My name is Cloud." Cloud responded. "Welcome to the Winged Pilots, young Cloud. My name is Swept, I am the leader of the Winged Pilots. This is Star, my co-pilot," he said, flicking his tail towards the cat sitting next to him. "And this is Leaf, Dot, Rain, Night, Flight, Sunny, Bark, Blade and Breeze." He continued, indicating the cats lined in a row. "Follow me." he got up a stalked out the cave. Cloud hurried to follow him. Unexpectedly, Swept picked Cloud up by the scruff and beat his massive wings.Within a minute he flew up the rest of the mountain. There, in a shallow dip in the point of the mountain, was a small pool of water. "Please step into the water," Swept said. Slowly, Cloud dipped his paws into the pool."Cats that lay above us, look down on this young cat and see if you may approve of our new Winged Pilot." In a quick flash, everything fell quiet. No bird song. No croaking toads. Not even the whistle of the wind. A big weight fell on his shoulders and he looked around at them. He almost fell back in surprise. A pair of wings had grown on his shoulders. He looked at Swept as a warm smile appeared on his face. " You have the power of the sky." Tʜᴇ Wɪɴɢᴇᴅ Pɪʟᴏᴛs
