Entering 1 will put in template stats for the fighters, and entering 2 will allow you to adjust the stats personally. This is a turn-based engine, so each player goes back and forth in turn based fashion. The one who has the higher speed goes first. There are two actions at the moment, attack and spells. Attacking will do a basic damage output, with no buffs or debuffs. Spells are a little more...complicated. The list of spells and their effects are down below. |--LIST OF SPELLS AND THEIR EFFECTS--| -Blinding Blast- Description: A weak spell, but forces the target's vision to become blurry. Element: Dark Effect: Lowers accuracy Power: Low Cost: 3 MP -Fireball- Description: A moderate spell that has a slight chance to burn the target (well, not yet). Element: Fire Effect: ///BURNING HAS NOT BEEN ADDED YET. THIS STATUS EFFECT WILL BE ADDED IN FUTURE UPDATES\\\ Power: Moderate Cost: 8 MP -Stalagmite- Description: The user summons stalagmites from underneath the target to deal heavy damage. Element: Earth Effect: N/A Damage: Heavy Cost: 25 MP -Lesser Healing- Element: Light Effect: Heals a small amount of HP Damage: N/A Cost: 10 MP -Greater Healing- Element: Light Effect: Heals a large amount of HP Damage: N/A Cost: 20 MP MORE SPELLS WILL BE ADDED IN LATER VERSIONS |--ADDITIONAL INFO--| -When a player loses all of their HP, the project will stop, as it is currently programmed to do so. Though it is quite abrupt, I'm currently working on a method to make a less confusing way to allow a person to know that a player lost all of their health. -Using physical attacks when your magic isn't full will regenerate 2 magic. Sorry for the recent bout of inactivity, everyone. I've been caught up with school and social media stuff, and I kinda forgot about scratch. But now I'm back, and I intend to stay! |--ABOUT THE PROJECT--| This project is one that I've had on the to-do list for a couple of years now, mainly because IT'S SO HUGE compared to my other projects. I'm a big fan of RPGs and JRPGs, and I always wanted to make one of my own when I was a small child of 13 or so, and now in my high school years, I finally did it...somewhat. Anyway, the project's been 2 years in the making (due to inactivity), and I do intend to add more to this in a separate project, seeing as the things I intend to add to this are big enough to the point where it might hinder people's ability to play for months at a time if I just decided to update the project itself. So yes, the plans for this project are big, and I'm currently praying in hopes that scratch will be able to handle the full thing. If it is able to, I might make a fully fledged game using this engine! Oh, and before I forget, please let me know of any major or minor bugs/glitches.
