Press I to iterate and change the parameters to alter the disease. Once the disease is eradicated, the project will end. This is a simulation of how disease spreads in a population. It also demonstrates how important vaccines are to fighting off disease. The parameters are set to simulate Influenza, however, these are their roles: Spreading Rate: How many interactions per day. Vaccine Efficiency: How well the vaccine works (%). Vaccination Rate: How many people are vaccinated (%). Healing Time: Approximately how long it takes to heal. Death Rate: Chance of dying from the disease (%). Notice how the infection spreads when the population is highly vaccinated and when it isn't. The disease fades away faster and fewer people are infected when the vaccination rate is higher.
