This is our final code for Operation Code: Coding in the City. Your challenge was to create a slide show to promote the city, using editing tools to style the backdrops and code to display the backdrops in order. To see what we did, click on "See Inside." As you make your changes, save the file so you don't lose your work!
This program is part of Cherry Lake Press's Operation Code series. This series presents early elementary learners with a story-based challenge they can solve using Scratch 3. Simple text and pre-populated templates guide students to deepen their understanding of coordinates, movement, sprite characteristics, events, and more. Each book includes extension activities and opportunities for students to customize and experiment with their code. A “Pro Tip!” on each page helps students grasp the conceptual understanding behind the code block.
