I hope that over the summer I can start uploading new projects a bit more regularly. Also, Happy Father's Day to all! Make sure to thank your father for his love and treat him extra nice. (Also new branding woohoo) Now let's talk about the drawing! This is a drawing of Lady Marvina and Cedric, two characters from a short story I wrote. (If any of you are interested in reading it, let me know. :D Maybe I'll post a storybook project next, haha.) Cedric is a young man who was cursed as a child, and Marvina is a woman recently brought back from the dead (hence her transparency/"ghostly" appearance). In this drawing, I wanted to practice specifically my digital painting/lighting. I struggled a bit, but I think the end result is pretty okay. Although, I feel like the lighting is still kind of blah (I'm thinking of maybe using a different brush next time?), and it could definitely use some sort of background other than ground and a moon--but that's what practice is for! I also wanted to analyze my drawing (potentially something I'll do with my future drawings over the summer?) and point out what I liked and what I could improve on. If anyone has tips/solutions for any of the problems I faced, I am all ears! In the next project, I hope to have a better background at least.(πーπ)Also why did 3.0 have to mess up all the vector made in 2.0? Literally, almost all of my old projects are vector I feel directly attacked-
