Name - Amber Age - 12 Amber looked around. She saw nothing. Crying, she slumped into nothingness. She raked her claws agaised the cold, lumpy floor. Then there was a sound. She pricked up her ears so she could hear better. "What are we going to do with it? Technically its a trespasser, it rolled onto our territory." "Throw it in the river! It will end up at the waterfall." Came a scratchy voice. Amber tried to take grip as she was lifted yet again. The sound of rushing water overpowered her ears. The sound came louder and louder, then she knew she was in it. Jolts and turns made her sick. She scraped and scraped. All of a sudden, light flooded in. Then water. Amber panicked, she was stuck in a box with water slowly rising. She struggled for air. Then all was black. Voices sounded and Amber's eyes fluttered open. BASH! the box fell to pieces, splinters flying everywhere. Her eyes burned as all at once she saw the sun. Letting out a whimper, she shrunk back. She was not a normal dragon, she was particularly.... colorful. Being unusual she was lucky not to be bullied so she was not used to be gasped at. When her eyes finally adjusted, she saw huge dragons standing in front of her. She cried and shrunk back further. Then one of the biggest dragons raised a paw. Or was it a hoof? "Hello wanderer. What may your name be?" It asked. Amber couldn't actually remember, the water had washed her mind clean. "U-u-um i think it started with an 'a'," "Amber.." The dragon muttered almost inaudible. "Yes! That was it! Amber..." She exclaimed. The dragon's mouth dropped open "A-A-Amber?" Amber was utterly puzzled. "Do i know-" She was cut off as the dragon sprang forwards and wrapped its tail around her. "Oh Amber! I thought I would never see you again!" It stepped back. "You don't remember me, do you?" He said, looking at Amber's blank face. "I'm your freakin' brother!" Amber looked at him more closely and saw that he was the same colors as she was. He looked at her in the eyes. "When you were very little our parents were poached for their colorful skin.I took you and ran as far away as I could. I stopped for the night and when i woke up you were gone. I searched and searched when i came across a set of paw prints; I followed them but they just led me in circles." At this point he was almost in tears. "I thought you were killed too." He held up his wings. Slowly Amber crept forwards and snuggled under it. "Your safe now."
