======================================== Okay. After several drafts, scrapped sketches, and botched paintings, it's finally done. Where do I start? This is my (loNG overdue) part of an art trade with best girl @MoonshineMew. Check her out! She is the most fun and genuinely kind person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I hope I did her OC justice. For some reason I have a serious inability to draw cats and cute things. I maY have gone a little crazy with this composition and completely ruined the painting, but I was so tired I couldn't help it (I just could nOT resist drawing her in a forest despite her name XD). I was trying to experiment with textures and shading so I used a variety of different brushes instead of just the watercolor brush. I found the airbrush was the most useful for large shadows and the eyes, but watercolor was the best for harsher, more refined textures. To add a pop of color, I painted a glowing green ribbon of light. I honestly don't know why I decided a ribbon of light would be best for this painting, but I really wanted to do that. This is also the first and last time I'm drawing a background on this account. My eyeballs and hands are dying. Again, I'm so sorry I took such a long time to complete this.
