I based the fighting system off of europa universalis's fighting system but it's far from a carbon copy. The way the battles functions is that it chooses a random fighter from each army and puts them in a battle. The outcome of this battle is determined by 2 values, the first value being what each leader scored on there check, this is determined by 1d4 + (current phase pip). This value is then added to 1d4 in each battle. Whichever fighter has the highest value wins and is moved down a state. (States are listed in project). In the instance that a fighter is paired with a unconsious foe there is a 1/5 chance the fighter will kill the foe (This will be changed in the future if this is transformed into a fully fledged game.)
