Name - Jaija (Pronounced Yie-ya) Gender - Male Jaija is extremely flexible, being able to adapt to most situations without a fuss. He is level-headed and mostly keeps his cool, but when he does occasionally lose his temper, he explodes. Jaija was a powerful god, governing the lands alongside his siblings. Unsurprisingly, Jaija was the god of water. Perhaps that description is... unfit. He was the guardian of the liquid state of matter itself, and the treasured the life that prospered from the rivers, oceans, and lakes. He loved what could be done with liquid and how it interacted with solid objects. But yes, he was the god of water. He used to stand tall alongside his siblings; Lora, the god of fauna and flora, Spixzi, the god of fire and passion, and Yaihz (pronounced Yiez,) the god of the air and sky. Their presence was hallowed, especially Jaija, who took frequent visits to Ori, the realm of mortals. He entertained the children, and was seen as the purest of the gods by the mortals. Nothing lasts forever, however, and tension began to rise between him and his siblings. Jaija felt the others were neglecting their duties, and hauling them onto him. He tried voicing his concerns over and over, but the others brushed him off. Spixzi had started acting more aggressive, especially towards the water god, who he began to view as whiny and weak. Becoming annoyed by his siblings, Spixzi in particular, he eventually lashed out when his siblings had started fighting regularly. The conflict eventually led to the siblings warring, all with their own motivations and desires to fuel the battle. Discarding his usually placid nature, Jaija fought fiercely against his once close siblings, unable the to handle his emotions and unable to 'flow' with the situation like he usually did. The fight lasted for seven days, and seven nights. When the sun rose on the eighth day, everyone was exhausted and could fight no more. But they still argued, and through what seemed like hours of fighting for himself, the other gods cast out Jaija, blaming him for escalating the small squabble into the battle. Too weakened by the last week's fight to retaliate, he did as he was told, and left the others to wander the realms. Yaihz immediately regretted her actions, and began to weep uncontrollably for her lost brother. He heard, and for a while, a persistent rain storm followed the god where ever he went. He now spends his days roaming the many realms, unsure of what to do or where his path leads. Perhaps he is doomed to wander forever, a lost god, unknowing of what his siblings are doing.
Drawn in FireAlpaca. Character design/DTA by @NotAUsualGirl Song: Eternal Youth by RUDE Jaija's 'backstory' is more of a legend than anything. He lives in a sort of multiverse, where the god figures can freely travel between the different dimensions. He can manipulate water and control it, but his powers have dulled after his exile. If I do win him, I will probably use him quite frequently. The design is really nice, and easy to animate and draw over and over, so I'll guess I'll see how my luck is. :3
