Let me do a bit of explaining. The art needs no explaining (it’s Mark ‘n Jo uwu), but the song does. This was actually the song that haunted my childhood. So when I was six or seven, this song came out, and being a weird kid liking somewhat sad music, I liked it when I heard it. (Clarification: I didn’t like regular music a lot. When I was seven/eight, my favourite songs were The Sick Bed Of Cuchulainn by The Pogues (don’t look that up plz thx) ((I love it so much and I’m listening to it rn I’m sorry this is my Irish heritage rearing it’s ugly head)) and Telegram Sam by Bauhaus. (it’s actually a pretty good song and I think about it a lot but I never get around to listening it but it’s really weird) I think I adopted this view from my parents, because they listened to a lot of weird music too. I grew up listening to The Pogues, but I literally just figured out what all their songs mean lol) ANYWAYS, I did what any kid in 2013 who owned a tablet would do. I went and looked up the music video. I just happened to click on the second music video. (Yes, there are two, and they’re both by the band, just one makes sense and the other one should be banned in all countries) I clicked on the the one with the phrase “(Bones)” at the end because I was like “ooh skeletons”. No. Bad idea, young me. The skeleton looked like ET, and that movie scarred me. Well, last week, I was thinking about it and decided to go look it up. The song is really great tbh, but the “Bones” music video is wrong in so many ways. Please go watch the regular one. I beg you. Or just don’t look it up. EVEN BETTER. ugh now let me go forget all that I have just seen
