"The object of the game is to help Frostbite Bailey build igloos by jumping on floating blocks of ice, while trying to avoid deadly hazards like clams, snow geese, Alaskan king crabs, grizzly-looking polar bears, and the rapidly dropping temperature." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frostbite_(video_game) Use the arrow keys to walk along the ice and jump from block to block. The space key will use one of your igloo blocks to change the direction of the ice. When the igloo is fully built, stand below it and press the up arrow key to enter it and begin the next round. Press the 'm' key during the game, then restart with the green flag to read the original game manual. Be sure to check out my book of weekly 4th grade Scratch/math lessons. http://goo.gl/pHF6Hd
This is a reproduction of Frostbite, a 1983 arcade game designed by Steve Cartwright for the Atari 2600 video game console. It was published by Activision in 1983. All of the sprites and sounds are from the original game. The programming is my best attempt to replicate the gameplay of the original. I welcome your suggestions to make this an even more authentic reproduction of this hidden gem of video game history. To do: inter-round score calculation
