Monday, February 17th, 2020: Wow, FEATURED! Thanks so much to the scratch team, @steffma for proposing this to be featured, and all of our viewers!!! (At the beginning of this project, I added a screenshot of what I saw when I logged into scratch earlier today! I still can't believe it. Featured! Wow!) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------Over 1000 views!!! Amazing job, guys! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a simple pong game. The goal in creating this was not to be fancy, or to add a lot of weird bonus features. It was to share a fun game with you, and gain a better understanding of scripts in scratch. I would say that we succeeded in both. (Feel free to use my scripts for your own pong game, but if you do, you need to give credits and tell us in the comments.) You play against the AI, trying to get the ball past their side of the screen by bouncing it off of your paddle. (You're on the left side of the screen.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Controls: Up arrow - move your paddle up. Down arrow - move your paddle down. "R" - restart the game. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- First to ten points wins!
Our new goal is to get 1000 views by January, 2021. We're more than halfway there! I know we can make it! Tell your friends! WE MADE IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Feel free to use these scripts for your own pong game, but if you do you need to please give credit, and tell us in the comments.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- What people are saying about Pong Classic, by @awesome_vic: "We thinks it's perfect like this." -@LordSmeagol "Nice game, vic!" -@awesome_vicma "200th view! Great game!" - "It is very good" - "nice" - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just one more thing. I don't recommend playing in turbo mode, but tell me if you did, and whether or not you liked it! Okay, last thing for real this time. Promise. I don't want to advertise, so I put this at the bottom of the notes and credits, but check out this project by : It's called Scratch Mini Games!, and it features this project. (I'm pretty sure there are six different games in there right now. But don't take my word for it, because , the owner of it, is always adding new games!) If you want to gain a little bit more publicity, and play some cool games, you can click the link, and request for one of your projects to be featured in there! Don't worry about people saying that you're advertising. Just ask if steffma can add your project, she'll look it over, and, chances are, your project will be accepted! _10mil_
