This is our final code for Operation Code: Coding in the Science Lab. Click on the green arrow and watch Rudy the Robot make a mess when he mixes the beakers in the science lab. No code is ever completely finished. Add your own ideas to the code!
This program is part of Cherry Lake Press's Operation Code series. This series presents early elementary learners with a story-based challenge they can solve using Scratch 3. Simple text and pre-populated templates guide students to deepen their understanding of coordinates, movement, sprite characteristics, events, and more. Each book includes extension activities and opportunities for students to customize and experiment with their code. A “Pro Tip!” on each page helps students grasp the conceptual understanding behind the code block. Images: Spread 1 scientist = “A female scientist at the bench” by Yuki Fujimora on Wikimedia.
